DESI DERA Alum Rock Road

Just visited Desi dera again, after sometime, great food and experience and pricing . Im not sure how they pull it off, but well done guys, fabulous food , geuine authentic asian cuisine.

First of all The customer service was amazing with fantastic staff members, from the servers to the Cook's very welcoming me and my family were welcomed like we were part of their family felt good inside. Now the food we ordered 2 mix grills 2 large fries and chicken ginger and lamb karahi 5 naan's, the mixed grills was so good forgot to take the pictures the chicken ginger was really good and the lamb was just as good if not a little bit better, you go to some restaurants and the gravy is the same in all their meats but here it was different it was just so good. You need to try this place out they have a family section you will feel very comfortable and relaxed. And top it off the Mango Lassi was the half a cherry on top of the cake because the Tea and rasmalai that was a banging combination .

We tried Sheesh kebab karahi and large mix gril platter .The taste was awesome and service was good and the lady was polite who served the food

Amazing Pakistani food. A must try when you're in Birmingham.. Desi Dera surprisingly delivers best on service, quality, quantity and taste.. I had ordered Lamb Biryani (6/10), Lamb Tikka Karahi (9/10) and Mix Grill (9/10) The restaurant has got its own parking to top it off.. Will definitely come back again.

Love the food here. Food not only looked good but was really tasty and was made to additional request I made. Everything was perfect. Malai Boti, Kebabs, Karahi even mint chutney was superb (had a few refills of chutney) Service was very good and staff were very courteous. Price wise it wasn’t very expensive. A few Parking places available right outside and some on street free parking also available.

This is the second time we went to Desi Dera and the food was delicious. The lamb chops and lamb karahi were outstanding. Tried magaj (lamb brains). It wasn't really to my liking but my family loved it. Thank you for a great meal.

Amazing restaurant. Best on Alum rock road. Just had iftaar here and the restaurant was very busy. Manager and waiters had everything under control, will visit again. Very tasty Masala fish really beautifully cooked.

Best mix grill in alum rock! Lamb bhuna is also fantastic. Service is also very good here and having a separate family section is also a bonus.
